Angie is survived by her cherished husband, Wayne Woodard, who together shared a lifetime of love and commitment. She was the beloved daughter of the late Annie and Foster Dailey, and a caring sister to Lisa Dailey, Melissa Hicks (Cooney). Her legacy continues through her devoted children, Shawn Woodard, and wife Tammy and Melinda Brown and husband Ron. Angie’s joy was multiplied by her adoring grandchildren - Koty Woodard (Morgan), Shyanne Culbertson (Jordan), Courtney Wilson (Logan), Alexis Stewart (Ross Rutledge), Allison Woodard and Jena Brown. She was also blessed to know and love her great-grandchildren - Jocelyn, Ava, Evelyn, Eli, Hattie, and Nora. Her warmth and guidance extended to her numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family, who will all miss her deeply.
Angie's life was marked by her unwavering faith and her commitment to serving others. She earned her Associate's Degree in Business and was trained as an LPN, skills she put to use throughout her career at Alfa Insurance, where she later retired. Her colleagues remember her as a dedicated and compassionate professional who brought light and laughter to the workplace.
Outside of her professional life, Angie was a woman of many passions. She found great joy in sewing, a skill she used to create beautiful garments and gifts for her family. Her canning of vegetables and making of jam and jelly were not only a testament to her love for tradition but also to her desire to share the fruits of her labor with those she loved. Angie's bingo nights were full of fun and fellowship, and her shopping excursions were always an adventure. Above all, Angie delighted in spoiling her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, showering them with love and attention that they will carry with them always.
As we bid farewell to Angie, we celebrate a life beautifully lived and a journey completed with grace. Her memory will continue to inspire and guide us, and her love will forever be felt in the hearts she touched. We find comfort in the knowledge that Angie is now at peace in the eternal embrace of her Creator, leaving behind a legacy of love that will continue to flourish in the lives of those she cherished.
Angie's life will be celebrated in a service that honors her faith and the love she shared with so many. It will be a time for family and friends to gather, remember, and give thanks for the blessing that was her life. As we reflect on the memories and the moments that made Angie so special, we are reminded of the impact one life can have on so many. We are grateful for the time we had with her and will hold her in our hearts until we meet again.
