Ann Collett, 70, of Ashville formerly of Curry, passed away Thursday, April 2, 2026, at UAB Hospital. Family will receive friends Tuesday, April 7, 2026, from 12 p.m. until 1 p.m. at Kilgore-Green Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. at Carbon Hill Memorial Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil Joe and Dolly Elizabeth Rose and George and Edith Collett.
She is survived by her husband, Danny Collett; children, Michael Collett (Heidi) and Michelle Collett (Trevor); grandchildren, Ryan Collett, Robert Logan Collett, Rachel Smith, Zhenya Collett, Alyona Pepper; siblings, Montez Wakefield, Barbara Rose Hall, Pam Rose, Joe Neil Rose (Cherie) and Bruce Wayne Rose (Cynthia); and several great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
Pallbearers will be Logan Collett, Zhenya Collett, Landon Green, Kents Hall, Austin Diffy, and John Rutledge.
