Billy James Sandlin, 60, of Carbon Hill, passed away Thursday, Aug. 11, 2016, at his residence. Visitation will be held Sunday, Aug. 14, 2016, from 1 until 2 p.m., at Kilgore-Green Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Sunday, Aug. 14, 2016, at 2 p.m., in the Kilgore-Green Chapel, with burial following at McDade Cemetery. E.J. Lowery Sandlin was preceded in death by his father, Clifford Sandlin; mother, Virginia Sandlin Smothers; brothers, Thomas J. “Slick” Sandlin, Jimmy R. “Rufus” Sandlin; and nephew, Benjamin Cody Sandlin. He is survived by his son, James Wesley Sandlin; brothers, David Sandlin, Allan Sandlin and Jerry Sandlin; sisters, Andra Hallmark (Don), Kathy Norris (Mark), and Shelia Sandlin; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
