Charles Kenneth Drummond, 82, was born September 7, 1941, in Jasper to Opal and Wilburn Drummond. He was an avid fisherman who enjoyed spending time with family and friends. On November 19, 2023, he took his last breath surrounded by people he loved most.
The family will be receiving friends Wednesday, November 22, 2023, from noon until 1:30 p.m. at Kilgore-Green Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at Walker Memory Gardens Wednesday, November 22, 2023, at 2 p.m., with Kilgore-Green Funeral Home directing. John Drummond Jr. will officiate.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilburn and Opal Drummond.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Brenda Drummond; daughter, Rebekah Day (John); grandson, Harrison Ryan Koaz; sister, Doris Kimbrell; sisters-in-law, Lawonna McGalliard (Timmy) and Candace Gilreath (Phillip); and brother-in-love, John Drummond Sr.
Pallbearers will be Steve Smith, Heath Smith, Steven Smith, Justin Vinson, Wendal Frye, Brent Goodwin and Chuck Alexander.
His fishing buddies will follow and are Jesse Dunagan, Billy Jack Allen, Greg Palmer and Cotton McClain.
