Clay Steven McCarty, 15, of Jasper, went home to be with his Savior on Wednesday, May 6, 2015. Clay was a freshman at Curry High School, an avid sportsman and a true friend. Visitation will be Saturday, May 9, 2015, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m., at Jasper’s First Baptist Church. A celebration of his life on this earth will follow at Jasper’s First Baptist Church at 1 p.m. Clay was a loving son, brother, grandson, cousin, nephew and friend, whose passing will leave a void in many hearts. He is survived by his mother, Amy Riddlesperger McCarty; his father, Patrick McCarty (Jessica McCarty); sister, Faith McCarty; grandfather, Johnny L. Riddlesperger; grandmother, Teresa M. Riddlesperger; grandfather, David McCarty; and grandmother, June McCarty.
