Flossie Lee Welch Flossie Lee Welch, 89, of Oakman, passed away Friday, Jan. 16, 2016, at her residence. Visitation will be Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2016 from 1 until 2 p.m. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2016, at 2 p.m. at Kilgore-Green Chapel. Burial will be at Zion Church of Christ Cemetery in Parrish. Joe Davis will officiate. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Edward “Eddie” Welch, Sr.; son, Arnold Welch; daughter, Barbara Ann Dixon; and sisters, Syblene Wood, Edna Dryer and Wanda Dixon. Welch is survived by five children, Edward Welch, James Leonard Welch, Shelia Faye Welch, Jerry Lee Welch and Bonnie Sue Knoll; two brothers, “Sonny” William Glasgow and Leburn Glasgow; four sisters, Rebecca Copeland, Christine Chilfton, Jewel Dean Shader and Jean Hardin; 23 grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren.
