Hilda Castle

Family will be receiving friends at Oakman Church of God, on Thursday, June 12, 2025, from 1 until 3 p.m., with Kilgore-Green Funeral Home directing. Funeral service will follow at 3 p.m., at Oakman Church of God, with burial at Patton Hill Cemetery. Bro. Kenneth Wiggins will officiate.

Hilda was born and raised in Walker County and went to Oakman High School. She was loving wife, mom, grandmother and a hairdresser by trade. Hilda loved her children, grandchildren and her 3 fur babies; big man Jr., Candy Lou Lou and Sissy Lou Lou. She loved her God whole heartly, not a day went by that she would not tell someone to get their lives straight or I hope you have your heart right with God. Hilda will be missed by all who loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlotte Creel and Eugene Naramore; brother, Ronald Narmore; grandparents, Edith and George Kilgore.

She is survived by her loving husband, Jerry Castle; children, Mellie Ratliff (Teddy) and Christopher Perry (Kelly); stepdaughters, Amanda Wakeman and Delisa Toxey; grandchildren, Kortney Odom, Dylan Perry (Lauren), Bristol Perry, Aiden Perry; great grandchildren, Levi Odom and Liam Odom; sisters, Edith Fraklin (Terry) and Kimberly Maddox (Tim); nephews, Mathew Maddox, Mark Maddox, Donnie Naramore, Blake Naramore; niece, Ashley Maddox; sister-in-law, Diane Naramore and a host of other relatives and friends.
