Howard Dean Lollar

Howard Dean Lollar, 66, of Jasper, passed away Sunday, February 23, 2025, at Baptist Health Walker Hospital. Family will receive friends Thursday, February 27, 2025, from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m. at Kilgore-Green Funeral Home. Service will follow at 2 p.m. Burial will be at Providence Cemetery. Rev. Tonja Strickland will officiate.

Howard was a devoted and compassionate brother, brother in law, uncle, great uncle, friend and nurse. He touched countless lives both in and out of the hospital. He was a beloved friend to many, always putting family and loved ones first. Though he may no longer be with us his legacy of kindness and compassion will live on in the hearts of those he touched. Special thanks to the ICU nurses, second floor nurses, and Gentiva Hospice.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edd and Verlie Lollar of Oakman; grandparents, Charlie and Carrie Lollar and Tom and Nicie Martin.

He is survived by his sister, Brenda Harbin (Jerry) of Oakman; nephew, Landon Harbin (Megan) of Jasper; great nephews, Hasten Harbin and Maverick Harbin; and nieces, Hadley Harbin and Hallyn Harbin.

Pallbearers will be Landon Harbin, Hasten Harbin, Dennis Andrews, Bill Lollar, and Casey Woods.
