The family will welcome friends at the Kilgore-Green Funeral Home, Saturday, August 31, 2024, from 10 until 11 a.m. Service will follow at 11 a.m. in the Kilgore-Green Chapel with burial at Bennett Cemetery. Officiated by David Miller and Joe Wallis.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack Rigsby and Joyce Rigsby Elkins; brother, Jerry Wayne Rigsby; sister, Jewel Vines.
He is survived by his wife, Patsy Rigsby; son, Derric Rigsby (Christy); 3 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren and 1 on the way; and a host of nieces, nephews and close friends.
He was in the United States Army and served in Vietnam. He retired after 40 years with CSX Railroad. Mr. Rigsby loved to hunt and fish.
