Ms. Joyce Allifa Sherer

Family will be receiving friends Saturday, November 2, 2019, from 1 until 2 p.m., at Kilgore-Green Funeral Home. Service will follow at 2 p.m., in the Kilgore-Green Chapel, burial at Walker Memory Gardens.

Faye was born on September 11, 1932. She was always there for her family no matter what. She was the glue that held the family together. She loved her children and grandchildren. She was a member of North Church of Christ and Curry Church of Christ. She was a godly woman with a heart of gold. She loved her nurses and caregivers. She was married for 63 years to her beloved husband Fred. She loved to cook, you would never leave her house hungry, she always made sure you were fed. Her love is infinite.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred N. Sherer; son, Charles N. Sherer; parents, Lillie and Leldon Freeman; in-laws, Sue Freeman, Charels W. Sherer, Cowboy Sherer, Alfred Sherer Jessie Mae Abbott, Elsie Husley, Clinton Sherer and Carolyn Sherer.

She is survived by her children, Bruce Sherer (Deanna) and Pat Brown (Jr); grandchildren, Jordon Pullins (John), Justis Sherer, Jared Sherer, and Chris Brown (Samantha); brother, Wayne Freeman; great grandchildren, Addisyn Sherer, Fletcher Pullins, and Jaxton Sherer and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
