Lydia Elmore Wilson, 94, of Jasper, born May 9, 1922, entered into rest on Friday, Dec. 9, 2016, at her residence. Visitation will be Monday, Dec. 12, 2016, from 1 until 2 p.m. at Kilgore-Green Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Monday, Dec. 12, 2016, at 2 p.m. in the Kilgore-Green Chapel, with burial at Herman Baptist Church Cemetery. J. D. Dickerson will officiate. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Edward O. Wilson; sons-in-law, Calvin Likes and Danny Bennett; parents, Winfield and Candy Elmore; five brothers; and five sisters. She is survived by her children, Eunice Brown (Larry), Carolyn Likes, Bufford Wilson (Benita) and Linda Bennett; grandchildren, Tina Wilson, Kim Harrison (Michael), Jason Wilson, Kasey Wilson (Kevin), Kelli Wilson, Scott Brown (Mandy), Shea Walker (Joseph), and Deedra Likes; 12 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews; and special friend, Carol Williams.
