Ruth Romine Teaford Baker, 89, of Jasper, passed away at Saturday, Jan. 7, 2016, at her residence. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Teaford; husband, Harold Baker; son, James C. Files Sr.; parents, Mary and Luther Romine; sisters, Gracie McGough, Ollie McGough and Naomi Tune; and brothers, Grady Romine, Howard Romine, Elbert Romine, Allen Romine, Calvin Romine and Charlie Romine. She is survived by her grandsons, James C. Files Jr. and Jeffrey Files (Emily); daughter-in-law, Judy Campbell Files; great-grandchildren, Cayson Files, Callie Files, Bryson Files and Catherine Files; special niece, companion and caregiver, Annette Pendley; caregivers, Linda Miller and Johnnie South; and a host of nieces and nephews.
