Mrs. Tommie Jean Hill

Tommie Jean Hill, age 88, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 17th after a long and lengthy illness at Shelby Ridge Nursing Home in Alabaster, Alabama. She was a long time faithful member of the Church of Christ. Worked as a seamstress and caregiver for 50+ years. Visitation will be, May 21, 2014, from 12:30 until 2 p.m. in the chapel at the Kilgore-Green Funeral Home. Services will be, May 21, 2014, at 2 p.m. in the chapel at the funeral home. Burial will be at Midway Church of Christ Cemetery. She was preceded in death by her husband Monroe Hill; sons, Gary R. Hill, Sr. “Buddy” and Terry R. Hill; her parents, James Edgar Terry and Goldie Blanton Terry; Sister, Marion Terry Greene; Great Grandson Chandler Cole Ferguson. She is survived by her daughter Sheryl Jackson of Pelham, Alabama; brother, Henry “Neil” Terry of Littleville, Alabama; Grandchildren, Mia Wylie (Mark), Melody Ferguson, Debbie Girard (Dennis), and Gary R. Hill, Jr. “Bobby”, Great Grandchildren, Meleah Wylie, Landon Wylie, Alison Shubert, and Justin Garner; Great-great Grandson, Sawyer Stover, and a host of many other family members and friends that she deeply loved.
