She was born April 2, 1944 in Greensboro, a daughter of the late Frank and Jane Cox Kalafsky.
She was a former resident of Mather and had attended the Jefferson-Morgan Schools. She later resided in Oakhurst, NJ before moving to Tinton Falls.
Kay was a member of the Lutheran Memorial Church in Tinton Falls. She was a former member of the Presbyterian Churches in Jefferson, Plum Borough, and Allison Park.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Frank Kalafsky, Jr. and her sister, Frances Kalafsky.
Surviving are her sister-in-law, Paula Kalafsky; her nephew, Kurt Kalafsky; her niece, Karen Morren and 6 great nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 10, 2017 from 10 am until the time of the service at 11 am at the Behm Funeral Home, 1477 Jefferson Road, Jefferson, PA. with Rev. Geoff Rach officiating. Interment will follow at Greene County Memorial Park in Morgan Township.
