Mary Lou Collins Higgins

She was born May 26, 1946 in Mt. Pleasant, Westmoreland County, a daughter of the late Raymond and Mable Cropp Collins.

Mrs. Higgins was a homemaker and lived most of her life in Greene County.

She was a member of the Clarksville Missionary Church.

On September 4, 1972 she married Norman Higgins, who survives.

Also surviving are five children, Karen Butler (Cecil) of Ralph, Kathy Jordan (Dan) of Uniontown, James Higgins (Krista) of Clarksville, Kimberly Brewer of Masontown and Mable Higgins of West Palm Beach, FL; 2 step-children, Mike Higgins (Chevon) of Las Vegas, NV, and Laura Boca of New Mexico; 18 grandchildren; two sisters, Barbara Reed of Washington and Jane Naser of Erie.

Deceased are two brothers, Edward Collins and Buster Collins.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, in the Behm Funeral Homes Inc.1477 Jefferson Road, Jefferson, Gregory P. Rohanna, supervisor. A Memorial Service will held at 6:00 p.m., Thursday, March 26, 2015 at the Clarksville Missionary Church, Clarksville with the Rev. Chuck Tracey officiating.
