Pearle Keys

She was born August 10, 1928 in Waynesburg, a daughter of the late Troy and Anna Garber Morris.

Mrs. Keys was a graduate of Waynesburg High School, class of 1947.

She was a homemaker and had attended the Jefferson Baptist Church, Jefferson.

Mrs. Keys enjoyed crossword and jigsaw puzzles, and reading.

On December 31, 1946 she married Ralph Keys Jr., who died July 2, 2004.

Surviving are four sons, James C. Keys Sr. and his wife Barbara of Waynesburg, Danny J. Keys and his wife Nancy of Chico, CA, Roy N. Keys and his wife Marilyn of Burkina Fosa, Africa, William D. Keys and his wife Opal of Cambridge, OH; a daughter, Yvonne Q. Pinkney and her husband Charles of Jefferson; eight grandchildren, James Keys Jr., Karla Varner, Richard Keys, Tricia Hilverding, Tiara Keys, Michael Keys, Chad Keys, and Randall Keys; 16 great grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren; a brother, Alan Morris of Waynesburg; and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased are three brothers, Raymond Morris, Arthur Morris and Clarence Morris; six sisters, Myrtle (Betty) Sillik, Agnes Anderson, Evelyn Anderson, Thelma Cumberledge, Eleanor Morris, and Marjorie Morris.

Friends will be received from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, June 22, 2014 in the Behm Funeral Home, Inc., 1477 Jefferson Road, Jefferson, Gregory P. Rohanna, supervisor, where services will be held on Monday, June 23, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. John R. Dorean officiating. Interment will follow in Jefferson Cemetery, Jefferson, PA.
