He was born January 29, 1925 in Dry Tavern, a son of the late Percy D. and Elizabeth Johnson Malone.
His wife, Mary M. Malone, died May 31, 2014.
Mr. Malone retired from Huntingdon State Prison, where he was the Maintenance Supervisor. He had also worked as a plastering contractor.
He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Navy from 1943 to 1945 and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Waynesburg.
He is survived by a son, Ricky Malone of Virginia.
Friends will be received 6 pm to 8 p.m., Friday, in Behm Funeral Homes Inc., 1477 Jefferson Road, Jefferson, where services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 9, 2016 with Rev. James Lewis officiating. Military honors will be rendered at the funeral home by American Legion Post 330, Waynesburg and the Veterans of Foreign Wars .
