She was born January 26, 1932 in Morgan Township, Greene County, a daughter of the late Larry L. and Margaret Harris Spragg.
Mrs. Bane was a 1950 graduate of Jefferson High School.
She was a factory worker and also had worked at the former Waynesburg Floral Co.
Sarah was a member of the Hewitt Presbyterian Church and of the former Jefferson Presbyterian Church, where she was the Clerk of Session for many years.
Deceased is her husband, Charles E. “Bucky” Bane, who died August 8, 1989.
Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, in the Behm Funeral Homes, Inc., 1477 Jefferson Rd., Jefferson, PA 15344, Gregory P. Rohanna, supervisor, where funeral services will be held on Friday, June 24, 2016 at 2:30 p.m., with Rev. Dr. Donald P. Wilson officiating. Interment will be in the Jefferson Cemetery, Jefferson.
