Suzanne Watters Deter

She was born December 2, 1937 in Homeville, a daughter of the late Homer and Sarah Kathryn Johnson Watters.

Mrs. Deter attend Jefferson-Morgan High School and had attended the Rolling Meadows Church of God.

She lived all of her married life in the Stoney Point area.

On August 10, 1957in Frederick, MD, she married Albert Deter, who survives.

Also surviving are three children, Tammie Peters and her husband John of Morgantown, WV, Albert Deter and his wife Marlene of Waynesburg and Sarah Lawrence and her husband Roger of Jefferson; six grandchildren, Heather Clark, Petie Deter, John Peters Jr., Justin Peters, Brandon Lawrence and Katie Lawrence; eight great grandchildren; a brother, Ron Watters and his wife Drema of Waynesburg.

Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, January 16, 2014 in the Behm Funeral Homes, 1477 Jefferson Road, Jefferson, Gregory P. Rohanna, supervisor. Where services will be held on Friday, January 17, 2014 at 11:00 a.m., with David L. Watters officiating. Interment will follow in Jefferson Cemetery, Jefferson.
