He was born April 8, 1946 in Waynesburg, a son of the late Thomas J. Mullen and Julia Pushey Simmons.
Terry served in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War and was a Purple Heart Recipient.
He was a retired coal miner from Consol Humphrey #7 Mine in Mt. Morris. And he was Catholic by faith.
Terry was a life member of the D.A.V. #123, Waynesburg, and a member of the American Legion Post #330, Waynesburg.
Surviving are two sons, Patrick S. (Anita) Mullen of Mather, and Erik S. (Ashley Faux) Mullen of Mather; five grandchildren, Michael P. Mullen, Patrick S. Mullen Jr., Erik S. Mullen II, Addison L. Mullen, and Jax C. Mullen.
Deceased is a grandson, Shane Mullen; and two brothers, Thomas Mullen and James Mullen.
Friends will be received Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Behm Funeral Home, 1477 Jefferson Rd., Jefferson, PA 15344, Gregory P. Rohanna, supervisor, where services will be held on Saturday, June 1, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. Francis Frazer officiating. Interment will follow in Greene County Memorial Park, Waynesburg. Military Honors will be accorded by the United States Marines Corps and The American Legion Post #330, and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #4793, Waynesburg.
