Tillie Marie (Shriver) Davis

She was born December 14, 1924 in Washington, a daughter of the late Isreal and Grace Robinson Shriver.

Marie was a 1944 graduate of Jefferson High School and went on to work as a nurse’s aide for the former Greene County Memorial Hospital, Waynesburg.

She had resided for many years in Sharpnack Hollow in the Jefferson area and was a member of the Jefferson Church of the Nazarene for 75 years.

On June 20, 1943 she married Allen A. Davis, who died November 21, 2006.

Surviving is a daughter, Florence Reggetts of Hedgesville, WV; a son, Samuel P. (Carol) Davis of Kearneysville, WV; six grandchildren, Janice Whitacre, Patricia Forquer, Stephen Reggetts, Connie Cunningham, Paul Davis, and Rebecca Staubs; seven great grandchildren; two sisters, Grace Morris of Weirton, WV and Stella Willy of Aliquippa.

Deceased are three sisters, Catherine Cox, Mary Bargerstock and Agnes Roberts; and a brother, John Shriver.
