Allen Keith Thrift

Allen K. Thrift, age 58, of Jensen Beach, Florida, passed away on April 2nd, 2024, surrounded by

his loving family. An esteemed structural engineer, Allen was a devoted husband, father, brother,

brother-in-law, and uncle, leaving behind a legacy of love and excellence.

Known as a pioneer in the field of engineering, Allen was widely respected and admired for his

unparalleled expertise.

Throughout his courageous battle with cancer, Allen demonstrated unwavering strength, always

maintaining a positive outlook, and caring more for those around him than for himself. His loving

wife, Brenda, stood by his side every single day, providing him with comfort, care, and unwavering

support as he faced his illness with grace and resilience.

Allen is survived by his beloved wife, Brenda Thrift, his sons, Jimmy Briggs (Sara Keller) and

Tyler Edwards (Rose Edwards), and his granddaughters, Hailee Briggs, and the soon-to-be-born

Kennedy Edwards (due in June 2024).

He was preceded in death by his parents, Nina Katherine Thrift, and Eugene Huntley Thrift, as

well as his siblings, Christina Pace, Richard Thrift, Steve Thrift, Kathy Blackburn, and Samuel

Russel Thrift. Allen is lovingly remembered by his surviving siblings, Dorothy Thrift, Nancy

Bingham, Barbara Boos, Mary Thrift, Michael Thrift, Brandon Pace, Rodney James Pace, and a

host of other relatives and friends.

Allen's legacy of passion, dedication, kindness, and the profound love he shared with Brenda will

forever be cherished by all who knew him. May he rest in peace, his memory living on in the hearts

of those he touched.
