Carol was born in Tonawanda, NY and moved to Stuart 45 years ago coming from Jacksonville, NC.
Prior to retirement, Carol was the Deputy Supervisor of Elections for Martin County for 23 years. She was an avid sports fan.
Survivors include her daughter Teresa Van Cardo of Jensen Beach, FL; son Robert Dick, and his wife Terry of Port St. Lucie, FL; grandson Cory Van Cardo, and granddaughter Taylor Dick.
Carol was predeceased by her husband James Hanna and her daughter Judith Dick.
A celebration of Carol’s life will be held from 4 to 6 pm on Friday, February 17, 2012 at Aycock Funeral Home in Jensen Beach.
