A week ago today all of our lives were changed. We all said goodbye to a truly amazing and courageous man, the epitome of what a father should be. Words can not express the angst I know we all felt. But just like everything else you did Dad, you were a man of intent, exiting this world on a Sunday. It was bittersweet as you departed from us but were free of your physical body and your ailments that you had suffered with for so long. Thank you Dad for everything. I know you're in Heaven teaching and sharing your wisdom, and singing with the angels. 'Til we meet again Dad, the apple of your eye, Syl.

In terms of possesions, Our father was not a wealthy man... He was wealthy in faith, love and compassion, beyond any other I have ever seen. His life was one of dedication to his family and faith, We are selfish in wanting him here, and gracious to let him go... I truly cannot express how amazing, talented, funny he really was. To every one who got to enjoy him you're welcome.. To everyone who paid their respects .... Thank You... We love you daddy (Pa)

Prayers and thoughts to the entire Styba family. In the short time I knew Mr. Styba, it was an honor to get to know him. I enjoyed talking with him about his children and grandchildren. He would just light up when speaking about his family. Love to the Styba family, Brenda Williams, RN

Dave was not only a coworker of mine, but also a great and dear friend. We had a dream and vision of starting a program for returning veterans and unfortunately it never came to life, however, Dave loved our troops and was passionate about helping them,  He had a heart of gold and was willing to help anyone he knew. He was also a talented and hardworking individual. God Bless to the Styba family and all his friends. We will miss you Dave!

Dear Darlene, Chrissy and Family,
I know what it's like to lose a Dad and I know it hurts. Dad's are so special cause they're the true and quiet strength of the family...to have them leave us makes us feel so vulnerable...so lost in many ways.
The wonderful part is remembering all that we learned from them...by their example, their look, their smile and their laugh.  Remember those things when you feel down...and you'll know that he's right there next to you...providing his strength again.
Darlene, you were such a caring and true partner...you never showed that you were tired...you just kept going.  David was blessed to have you as his partner in life.  My prayers are with you all.  Jody Bond

Sylvia, So sorry for your loss, my prayers are with you and your family. Do not mourn his passing, celebrate his life and the time you had with him. I am sure he would rather see you smile than be sad. He suffered so long now he is at peace and with you in spirit.

Bob, Joelle and family, Great pictures. What a loss this is!  My heart is heavy for all of you. Though I had not seen your dad in many years, I remember that he was a good man with a friendly smile. I love you guys so much.
