Dennis Michael Kelly

Dennis Michael Kelly , 76 of Jensen Beach passed away on August 14th, peacefully with his wife at his side at The Treasure Coast Hospice in Ft Pierce. He was born to parents Adele Dougherty and John T. Kelly on March 1 1945, in Brooklyn Naval Yard, and was raised in Ramsey New Jersey. Dennis graduated from Don Bosco High School and received his Bachelors Degree from St Michaels College in Burlington Vermont and his MA in Accounting from Northeastern University in Boston.

Dennis was a Certified Public Accountant and after serving as the Director of Internal Auditing for Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel, he moved his family to Florida and opened a private practice, becoming the second CPA in Port St Lucie. Dennis was a decorated Vietnam Veteran and was most proud of his service to his country.

He married the love of his life, Joanne Briganti in 1968, who survives him. Dennis is also survived by his son Brett Kelly and his wife Michelle; son Matt Kelly and his wife Stephanie and Brother Kevin Kelly. Dennis had five grandchildren Nicholas J Kelly, Caroline J. Kelly, Teresa A Kelly, Kaitlin Kozak and Hailey Tolliver and one great grandchild, Raven Tolliver.

The celebration of Dennis’s life will be Wednesday August 25th 2021, at 4 pm at Aycock Funeral Home in Jensen Beach. The family requests casual dress, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to www.wearenavajo.org or the www.choctawnation.com
