Donald J. Mara

Don was born in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1921 and after serving in the Air Force during World War II, Donald married his love, Marion. They settled in Miami, Florida until 1982 then moved to Beverly Hills Florida after he retired from Easter Airlines. Don enjoyed amateur model train building, his citizen band radios and "tinkering". He was a veteran, a pilot, and a loving husband and father. Don was preceded in death by his loving wife Marion and grandson Michael. Left to honor Donald and remember his love are his four daughters Melinda Reeves of Port Saint Lucie, FL, Melanie Gonzalez of Sunrise, FL, Melissa Jimenez of Pensacola, FL, and Beth Gideon of Beufort, South Carolina; 9 grandchildren Tiffany, Christopher, Shawn, Cory, Stephanie, Timothy, Jennifer, Tasha and Brahm; and 10 great grandchildren Isabella, McKenzie, Michael, Gabriella, Chyna, Alisa, Sebastian, Luis Jr., Kiley, Haiden, and his pet dog Brenda.

Visitation will be held Sunday, September 27, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m at Aycock Funeral Home - 950 N.E. Jensen Beach Blvd. Jensen Beach, Florida 34957.

A celebration of life will be held Monday, September 28, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Aycock Funeral Home - 950 N.E. Jensen Beach Blvd. Jensen Beach, Florida 34957. Don will be laid to rest at Vista Memorial Gardens in Miami, Florida following the funeral service.
