Donna M Warren

Donna was born on August 7, 1949 in Newburgh, NY to her proud parents David and Doris Freer, Sr. of Wallkill, NY. Donna grew up in Wallkill, graduating from Wallkill Senior High School in 1967 and Orange County Community College with her Associates Degree in Nursing in 1974. Donna was Nurse Manager at St. Lukes Hospital, Newburgh, NY. Do nna and Ray moved to Jensen Beach, FL in 1993. Donna was Director of Nursing for the Acute Units at St. Lucie Medical Center, Port St. Lucie, FL until she retired in 2010.

She is survived by her loving and supportive husband Raymond H. Warren of Jensen Beach, FL her beloved mother Doris E. Berglund, also of Jensen Beach, her daughters Carolyn A. Johnson (McCord), of St. Petersburg, FL, Denise E. Luciano(McCord) and her son in law Jim M. Luciano of Hopewell Junction, NY: as well as her sister in law, Nancy R. Freer, Wallkill, NY and niece Melissa W. Freer of Ellenville, NY. Donna leaves behind the grandchildren she loved and adored, Zachary R. Johnson, David Chase Johnson, Danielle Marie Luciano and James David Luciano.

She was predeceased by her father David A. Freer, Sr., her brother David A. Freer, Jr. and her step-father Harry C. Berglund.

The family would like to offer special thanks and love to Christine Grismer Olazagasti, Donna’s lifelong friend for her love and support of Donna and all of us. We would also like to thank Jesse Gabuat and Dawn Chiarenza for their special place in Donna’s life as well as ours. Donna also leaves behind Abby(Abigail); the spoiled little spotted dashshund that she and Ray rescued in 2006.

A celebration of Donna’s life and love of family will take place at the Holiday Out Rec Hall on March 19, 2011, at 3:00PM.

In lieu of flowers the family request that donations may be made in Donna’s memory to Treasure Coast Hospice, 1201 SE Indian Street, Stuart, Fl 34994.
