

Dorothy was a beautiful wife, mother, daughter, grandmother and great grandmother. She made a good life for herself and her family. She enjoyed her life in Florida during her last ten years. Her home was her refuge and she had family close by and in New Jersey. We will miss her hospitality, her guidance and her generous heart and spirit. At the end of her life her passage into heaven was glorious.
Dorothy Kelly Zanghi, 85 years of age, born May 7, 1931 in Brooklyn, NY, died November 26, 2016 in Jensen Beach, Florida.
Dorothy was preceded in death by, her husband Charles Zanghi, sisters Barbara Nematz and Mary Ann Severino and granddaughter Brooke Anne Fairchild, son-in-law George Curcio.
Survivors include two daughters Caryl Ann Curcio, Jayne Ellen Fairchild (Jeff) and Randy Zanghi. Along with grandchildren Charles Curcio, Elizabeth Fairchild, Jason Zanghi, Randy Zanghi, Michael Zanghi and Christina Troncone and many other relatives and friends.
Dorothy stayed home to raise her children and then went to work in New York City for the SUNY College system as a purchasing agent. Prior to retirement she worked as a purchasing agent for the township of Middletown, NJ.
Dorothy was a very smart, bright woman and loved to learn. She was an excellent cook and prided herself on her gardening skills and was one of the most hospitable women you will ever meet. She will be missed and are all very blessed to have had her in our lives.
Services will be held at Aycock Funeral Home on Jensen Beach Blvd on Wednesday, Nov. 30th at 3:30 p.m with a Celebration of Life Gathering from 2-3:30. She will be inurned with her husband of 54 years, Charles Zanghi at St. Gabriel’s in Holmdel, N.J. at later date.
