
Jack was born in Mt Oliver, PA and moved to Jensen Beach coming from Pittsburgh, PA.
Prior to retirement he worked as an electrical engineer for Duquesne Brewery in Pittsburgh, and then became the general manager of Charlie’s Dodge in Fort Pierce after moving to Florida.
Jack was a member of St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church in Jensen Beach, FL. He was a 4th degree Knight with the Knights of Columbus, The Father Andrew Doherty Assembly in Palm Beach Gardens, FL, a member of the Tuesday Poker Group of Jensen Beach Country Club, Very active in St Ignatius Cathedral in Palm Beach Gardens for many years, running the thrift shop.
Jack served in WWII with the US Army, in the 29th Division Group, landing in Normandy Beach on D-Day. He was the recipient of four bronze stars.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years Margaret Geisler of Jensen Beach, Fl, sister Evelyn Borger of CA, cousin Geoff Cooley of AZ, and nephews Norman and Robert Kalina of Pittsburgh, PA.
Visitation will be on Thursday, July 21, 2011 from 10:00 to 12:00 noon at Aycock Funeral Home, Jensen Beach, FL. Mass of Christian burial will be at 1:00Pm at St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church in Jensen Beach, FL. Interment will follow at Riverside Memorial Park in Tequesta, FL.
