I was so sad to hear of the passing of Jorgen, I have known his family for many years, I spent a couple of years up at Land of the Vikings with his son Gordon as a camper, then as a counselor. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him, he was a great and kind person and would do anything for you. My prayers go out to Ester and the family - Glenn, Gordon, Kenneth and Anne Marie. RIP Jorgen.

Jorgen Fidje was my friend and mentor. I first began to know and appreciate his assistance during 1995 when I joined Loyal Lodge at St. James, NY. As I grew with Gulfstream Lodge after moving to Florida and becoming more active within a Lodge as Sports Director, Vice President, and President, I could always seek advice and guidance from him. Jorgen's knowledge of our Son's of Norway's traditions and procedures always clarified the way to a proper meeting or event. His presence will be missed.

It was such a pleasure meeting Mr and Mrs Fidge during Glen and Gayla’s engagement and celebrating their wedding together.

The pride and happiness on Mr Fidge’s face in photos through the years is that of a beautiful long life dedicated to family, service to others and to the craft of building special homes where people could raise their own families.

His and Mrs Fidge have led by example with their children and grandchildren how to be an exceptional person and someone people can count on. One of many examples of who the Fidge’s are as people was Glen flying to New York this past January to be with our family at a time of loss. It is something we will never forget.

God bless Mr Fidge and your beautiful family and a full long life well-lived!
Sending you Peace and Love.
