

Kim was born on February, 26th, 1964 in Fort Bragg, North Carolina to Richard Slocum and Bridget Longo.
Kim spent her younger years traveling from different army bases around the United States because her father was enlisted at the time. Her family eventually settled in New London, Connecticut, where Kim would later graduate High School from. It was in Connecticut, that she would also meet the father of her two sons, Robert Benedix.
Kim and Robert eventually moved to Jensen Beach/Port Saint Lucie Florida area where she would spend the rest of her years living. She had two sons, Jake and Brett Benedix. Kim was heavily involved in fitness growing up as she took part in gymnastics and cheerleading as a teen. Later down the line she was featured in a few fitness magazines for her incredible physique. She also competed in multiple figure competitions as well.
Kim absolutely loved to spend time with family. Whether, if it was for five minutes, she cherished any amount of time given with a loved one. She really enjoyed cooking for her family and always enjoyed whipping up new dishes. She really liked to work as well as being on her feet and staying active. Kim was a very positive person to be around and had such a sweet soul. She will be deeply missed by anyone who was involved in her life.
Kim was preceded in death by her father Richard, and her brother Richie. She is survived by her two sons, Jake and Brett, her mother Bridget, her three sisters, Karen, Robin, and Sue, and her brother Tommy. Kim is survived by her 9 nieces and nephews Kiel, Brandon, Nicole, Brittany, Alicia, Ashley, Everett, Elias, and Capri and two dogs Maxwell & Molly.
