Nikos Stergiou

Nikos was born in Edipsos-Evia, Greece to Anastasios Fournaris and Pagona Stergiou. He attended school in Greece and Brussels, Belgium. Nikos worked as Restaurant Manager at Club Med Sandpiper. Throughout a remarkable career of 29 years as a Restaurateur all around the world, Nikos displayed a unique style in management based in camaraderie and an exuberant “Joie de Vivre”. Nikos enjoyed participating in Triathlon events, and encourage kids of all ages the love for sports.

Nikos is survived by his wife Teresita Stergiou, daughters Anastasia, Melina Stergiou (Vincent Schoonjans), son David Avlonitis (wife Badria), grandchildren Ella Schoonjans and Lina Avlonitis, and was predeceased by his mother Pagona and his son Nikolaos Alexander Stergiou. Nikos left his eternal love for his family and friends, the unforgettable memories and inspiration for the true fighter he was, and the precious gift of his smile. “You are at peace, and you will be loved forever more”.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday 20th February at 9:00am, Aycock Funeral Home, 505 South Federal Hwy, Stuart, FL.
