Pam, I am thinking of you. You and the family have my deepest sympathy. You were missed this week. 🙏

Have not seen Peter in quite a few years, actually ran into him at Thirsty Whale in Stuart awhile back. Quite a few different memories but all good. Always picture him in the old  "13-9" Boston Whaler back in the day.

I've known Pete, I'm guessing since the early eighties. He was a great friend, always with a joke and a smile. He always had funny sayings , his own way with words. He didn't show that side often but I know he was very sensitive and sincere and serious about life
 When my son passed away, he was there at the service. I'll never forget that ,it was so comforting to see Pete there.

Praying for comfort for the McKnight Family. I am deeply saddened  at the news of his passing. 

May God comfort and be with all of Peter's family and friends.

Pam, we are at a loss for words.  So many memories for so many years & so enjoyed our annual reunions through Toyota.  The video is great & surely reflects the Peter we all love!  We hope all your wonderful memories help you through the days ahead.   Prayers for you & the girls!

I love Peter so much. When Peter entered the room he always made me smile with his silly little jokes and southern drawl. He was a good man. I will miss him so much! I'd keep thinking about him and I like to believe that he is up in Heaven and Aunt Lulu is giving him lots of big hugs and kisses...and Uncle Bill is hugging him, too...united at last! He is gone too soon (way too soon!), but he will never be forgotten. I keep running through memories from our childhood. I remember seeing Peter as a newborn when we visited down in Maryland...I remember being down there for Peter's first birthday, too...somewhere I have a picture of all of us kids sitting at a picnic table and Peter sitting on the end of the table with a birthday cake...I remember when he was a little pip-squeak in junior high and he bought a Volkswagon himself and drove it around the property on SE St Lucie Blvd...(He didn't have a license - he was too young!) He was such a "go-getter!" He had such a big heart and a capacity for love... Sending prayers to all the McKnight family...Love, Jody

Pam and family. Matt and I are so sorry for the loss of Peter. We remember when Patty fixed you both up. It was like yesterday. Our heart is hurting for you and you family. Sending prayers from our family to yours. 

I made a phone call to Pam and said, you have to talk to Peter and meet him.  They went on a date to The Black Marlin over 25 yrs. ago and  married shortly 
after.  Peter was so funny, preppy yet Country! He definitely knew how to have a Good time anywhere. He was like an uncle to my kids, and  a close friend  that will be missed dearly. Party down in Heaven until we get there!❤️

So many memories! When you were a little guy and served as an acolyte at First Methodist of Stuart. Working for your Dad at the flower farm. Stopping by at the sport shop to visit from time to time. Deep, meaningful conversations with your Mom, about our shared faith in Jesus and so much more. God speed, Peter. Praying that God's comforting presence and grace surround your family as they mourn your leaving. You are loved and missed, little brother.

I am so saddened to hear of the loss of such a great man. So many of my childhood memories have Pam and Peter in them. Peter had such a sense of humor and would always make me laugh. As I grew older I would run into him and Pam from time to time, you would both always take the time to stop and talk with me and ask how my family was doing. I am so very sorry for your loss, he will be missed by many. Pam and the entire family are in my thoughts.
