Robert was born in Forest Hills, NY and moved to Port St. Lucie 2 years ago coming from Ft. Myers, FL.
He was a member of Visually Impaired Persons of Southwest Florida and Port St. Lucie Amateur Radio Association.
Survivors include brothers Paul M. Sweeney of Leland, NC, David J. Sweeney of Smithtown, NY, sisters Patricia A. Renna of Port St. Lucie, FL, Elizabeth S. Sakoutis of John’s Creek, GA and nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 1, at Aycock Funeral Home, Jensen Beach, from 2:00 to 5:00PM and 7:00 to 9:00pm. A Mass will be on Saturday April 2, at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church, 623 E. Ocean Blvd., Stuart, FL at 11:00AM.
