Sally Simes Barrett

December 15, 1932 – August 27, 2025

Sally Simes Barrett passed away peacefully on August 27, 2025, at the age of 92. A longtime resident of Stuart, Florida, Sally made her home there since 1977—especially cherishing her years in the Schooner Oaks community, where she built a life filled with family, friendship, and quiet joy.

Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on December 15, 1932, Sally was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother whose steady presence touched everyone around her. She spent her final moments surrounded by family, held in love by her son, daughter, and granddaughter.

Throughout her life, Sally found joy in creativity and connection. She spent her years immersed in various forms of art, festive holiday baking, entertaining, and traveling the world. After the passing of her beloved husband, she discovered a new sense of adventure and companionship with her cherished “Nui” family, whose laughter and friendship brought her deep happiness in the years that followed.

She is survived by her daughter and son, Susan and Bill as well her grandson, Calyn and her granddaughter, Lauren. Sally will rest beside her husband, Bill at Fernhill Memorial Gardens in Stuart.

A visitation and remembrance will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Aycock Funeral Home, 950 NE Jensen Beach Blvd, Jensen Beach, FL 34957.
