Sharon Diane Chicky

Sharon Diane Chicky, 84, of Sewalls Point, Florida, passed away on May 2, 2026. Born November 14, 1941, Sharon will be remembered with deep respect and enduring affection by all who had the privilege to know her.

From the beginning of her adult life, Sharon approached each responsibility with steady diligence and integrity. Right out of high school, she began working with multiple Insurance companies, earning the trust of others through her honest manner, strong work ethic, and the quiet reliability she brought to every day.

In the late 1950s, Sharon met Jon, and together they shared 65 years of marriage rooted in devotion, care, and steadfast partnership. She was a loving mother to two children, Jon Jr (Angie) and Lynne (Rick), and a proud grandmother to Michael, E.J., Rosie, and Tiffany. Sharon’s generosity and compassion were felt most clearly in the way she nurtured her family and made a true home—one shaped by constancy, warmth, and attentive love.

Sharon found joy in the simple, meaningful rhythms of life. She enjoyed gardening and especially loved her orchards, azaleas, and Christmas cactus. She also took pleasure in needle point, reading the newspaper and magazines, and spending time watching butterflies and hummingbirds. Above all, she cherished being a homemaker to her family, giving of herself in countless ways that were as practical as they were heartfelt.

Visitation will be held at Aycock Funeral Home, 950 NE Jensen Beach Blvd, Jensen Beach, FL 34957, on May 12, 2026, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm with a Funeral Service at 12:00 pm, a Committal Service will immediately follow at All Saints Church, 2377-2399 NE Patrician St, Jensen Beach, FL 34957.
