With heavy hearts, the Spooner family announces the passing of Steven Edward Spooner on July 2, 2024, in Stuart, Florida. He was born on September 1, 1959, in Flint, MI, to Barbra Joy and Virgil Spooner. Steven was a beloved husband and partner to Amber and a loving step-father to Brian and Dominic, a proud brother to Jeffery and Scott, a brother-in-law to Rhonda and Julie, an uncle to Rachel, Samantha, Casey, Lindsey, and Luke, a great-uncle to Rebekah, Eli, Cameron, and Katherine, and friend to everyone he met.
Steve enjoyed jet skiing, snowmobiling, riding motorcycles, and quiet time with his family and pets.
Steve will be remembered for his kind and gentle nature, warm smile, love of life, and amazing heart. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
