Born in Standford, Conneticut though Thom lived in the Stuart area for the majority of his life.
Thom started working at Publix in Downtown Stuart 44 years ago, where he fittingly retired from as a produce manager 2 years ago. Thom loved going to the beach and car shows, and he loved old cars, especially his 1966 Nova Super Sport in Hugger Orange. He also enjoyed building models and planning the family’s next RV trip.
He is survived by his wife, Jerrie Boettcher; daughter, Allison Boettcher; mother, Betty Ann Boettcher; brother, Matthew Boettcher; sister, Amy Buys; daughter by heart, Carolyn-Ann Suggs; his precious dog, Boo and countless loving friends and family.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2025 at 11:00AM at Westside Church-South Beach Campus, 1717 Gulfstream Ave., Fort Pierce, FL 34949. On Sunday, March 30, 2025, a Celebration of Life will be held at Jensen Beach Bowling, 2303 NE Dixie Hwy, Jensen Beach, FL 34957 from 1:00pm-3:00pm.
