What awonderful man. A sweet and loving wife Midge. We should all aspire to be as kind and gentle and giving people as Mr. and Mrs
Dunne . My family was fortunate to know and spend many precious
times with both Midge and Bill , A more Jovial guy you never meet,
he will be missed.

I met Bill through my in-laws when he was in his late 50's and I was in my mid-thirties.  He invited me to play tennis and proceeded to give me a thorough beating on the court and a lesson in ball placement and spin.  He became a good friend and we had many enjoyable times together in the years that followed.  He was an exceptional person with an incredible sense of humor that made everyone smile and he had a heart of gold.  He was kind, loved his family, and led a life guided by the Lord.  He will be missed dearly and always remembered fondly by all who knew him.  My wife, Christine and I express our deepest sympathy to Bill's family.  Stephen Allen

Our hearts became so heavy when we learned that Bill passed on.
Such a Great Man, Friend, Teacher, Father, Husband and Spiritual leader. We loved his stories of traveling with Midge all around the world and how many wonderful friends they both made. That their greatest blessing was their children and grandchildren and how he loved Ocean Towers, proud to be its first condominium president. We were always amazed at Bills prayer list, each morning as he watched the ocean, Bill would pray for each person on that list, I don't think he ever missed a day! 
We will miss our dear friend, but take comfort in knowing that Bill and Midge are together again and on to their next adventure!

We have missed him for so long looking out over his balcony and waving to all of us on the beach, I'm so glad we got to see him at OT this Summer and I could not shake his hand I had to give him a hug.  He kept my family on his daily prayer list and that has meant so much to us.  We are truly blessed  to have known such a great man.  He will be missed.

Bill was one of the most interesting, fun and incredible man we have ever known. While we didn't see each other much in the later years, Bill will always hold a special place in our hearts. He and Midge were very special friends. We had a very small wedding. Our son a much larger one. Bill & Midge were the only non-family members at both weddings – twenty plus years apart. We will always think of Bill as Lee's tennis partner. Our 10 plus years of playing together were fun and successful times. 
The world is not the same anymore with Bill not amongst us. But his spirit will live on with everyone that knew him. All the best to Jim, Barbara, Laura and Patty. You were so very lucky to have such wonderful parents.

Dear Dunne Family, I was very fortunate to have a person like your father as my cousin. In their youth, Vera and Bill spent most of their summers in Auburndale,Ma and we had many great times together. Having many of the same interests, Bill and I played together summers in the Newton Twi-league.He was a super ball-player! We both hated the necessity of his return to New Jersey since at that time it seemed so far away. Dear Dunne Family - I was saddened to hear the news of Bill's death.   As a former school principal, we would sit around and  solve all the problems related to education during my visits to Ocean Towers.  Just being in his presence always put a smile on my face.  I will truly miss his warm smile and our great conversations.  My he rest in peace.

We sincerely appreciate the outstanding contributions both Bill & Mildred made to Ocean Towers, especially in Ocean Towers early formative years when their leadership was so needed. Also, we appreciate the friendship and enjoyment they brought to all our lives. Bill's great sense of humor was always present. God, grant eternal rest to them both

I am saddened by your father's passing but I know you were there for him as were your sisters and he was blessed!

We are sorry to lose our dear friend, travel companion, and tour director extraordinaire.  He always made our journeys memorable and greatly enjoyable.  Now Bill has finished his faith filled journey, and we hope he has saved the itinerary for us.  
Who can forget when Bill ran for office with Ruth for Warren Twsp. committee back in '68.  The township has never and will never experience such a great, roaring, and positive campaign.  He couldn't get over the fact that we didn't get enough votes to win.
He always talked about how Steve was able to get him a steak dinner on their flight down to Florida in coach when everyone else was eating a ham sandwich.
Gosh, we could go on and on for days as the memories keep flooding back.
