

Bill was born in Teaneck, New Jersey, and relocated to Florida as a young child in 1958. Bill attended Jensen Beach Elementary School and was a graduate of Martin County High School. He went on to University of South Florida, obtaining a Bachelors of Science in Music. Bill was a volunteer Fireman and was the Chief of Jensen Beach Fire Department. He worked for code enforcement as a supervisor for Martin County and became the Senior Fire Inspector. At the time of his passing, Bill was employed by Mingace Custom Sound, in Jensen Beach. Along with his comrades with the fire department, he went on to create a fireworks company taking over what his father started in the 1960’s. Bill enjoyed fishing. He was known to be a handyman, always looking for something to fix. Bill was family oriented and loved the card game Pinochle. Most endeared to Bill was his family and friends. Bill was well known and will be missed by many.
Bill was preceded in death by his father, Bill Yurillo Sr. in 1976.
Survivors include his daughters, Sara McLendon and Allison McLendon, both of Jensen Beach; mother, Marie Yurillo; brother, James Yurillo (Dawn), of Jensen Beach; sister, Joanne Yurillo, of Jensen Beach; niece, Victoria Yurillo; nephews, James Yurillo II and John Yurillo; along with many cousins and friends.
There will be a visitation from 4-7pm on Tuesday October 25, 2016 at Aycock Funeral Home, Jensen Beach. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday October 26, 2016 at 11 am at St Martin de Porres Catholic Church in Jensen Beach.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Bill’s honor to a charity of one’s choice.
