Howard Anderson Bowers, age 91, of Melbourne, Florida, passed away on Saturday, March 9, 2024 at his residence. He was born in Elizabethton, Tennessee, a son of the late Edward L. Bowers and Blanche Crowe Bowers. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Joan Bowers; two brothers, Lawrence Bowers and Edward Bowers; and one sister, Vivian Bowers Worley.
Howard was a veteran of the United States Army. He worked as a Mathematician for Patrick Air Force. He also worked with NASA in the Space Program. He loved working with Electronics, had a coin collection, and upon retirement he and his wife enjoyed taking drives and going out to eat.
He is survived by three nieces, Linda Souza and husband Greg, Teresa Strombotne and husband James, and Diane Worley; and several great nieces and nephews.
A Private Committal Service and Interment will be held in the Garden of the Last Supper at Roselawn Memory Gardens.
