Inez Nave, age 94, of Limestone, Tennessee passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 15, 2024 at her residence. She was born in Butler, Tennessee, a daughter of the late Bruce Bowman and Ilean Leonard Bowman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Leonard Bowman; and one sister-in-law, Evelyn Bowman.
Inez was a lifelong resident of Washington County, Tennessee. She loved her church family at Boones Creek Baptist Church, especially the Precious Ladies of her Sunday School Class. Inez known as mother to Susan, was someone who loved unconditionally till her last breath.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Susan Carr and husband Bobby; nephew, Terry “Bo” Bowman and wife Debbie; her precious grand dog, Beau; her grand cats, Twiggy and Gypsy; special daughter, Mary Salyers; best friend, Sharon Barron; special friends, Bill and Sue Fields, and Mary Alice Hodge; special cousin, Roger Bowman who was a God send over the past years; and several nieces.
Inez requested a Committal Service & Interment that will be held Monday, May 20, 2024 at 10:00AM in the Garden of Peace at Monte Vista Memorial Park with Pastor Jason Royston officiating.
The family would like to extend their thanks to the nurses on 7400 at the Johnson City Medical Center, and to Amanda and Mack for all the help getting Inez home from the hospital on Tuesday.
In lieu of flowers, Inez requested memorial contributions be made to Boones Creek Baptist Church, 304 Pickens Bridge Road, Johnson City, TN 37615 or to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
