Therese Irene Meredith

Therese (Terry) was born in Ontario, Canada, a daughter of the late James Blackall and Irene Featherstone Blackall. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Maxwell Meredith, and one daughter, Linda Irene Cody.

Terry lived in Chelmsford, MA and many years in Poway, CA before recently moving to Mountain City.

She is survived by one daughter, Deborah Douglass and her husband James (Jay), three sons, James and his wife Debra, Charles and his wife Kelly, and Richard.

She leaves behind ten grandchildren, Scott Meredith and his wife Margaret, Sean Meredith and his wife Jackie, Eric Meredith and his girlfriend Hayley, Brian Douglass, Kelly Blakely and her husband John, Shawnie Gorman and her husband James, Stephanie Meredith and her fiancé Lionel, Josh Meister-Meredith, Therese Meister-Meredith, and Matthew Meister-Meredith.

Terry also leaves behind ten great-grandchildren.

There will be no formal services held, but a Celebration of Life is being planned at a date and location to be determined.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society as Terry was passionate about supporting that charity in memory of her late husband and daughter.
