Bill D. Glaze

Bill D. Glaze, 78 of New Albany, OH passed away suddenly on Tuesday, January 3, 2012. A Funeral Service will be held at 10 AM on Monday, January 9, 2012 at Crouse-Kauber-Sammons Funeral Home, 225 N Main St., Johnstown, OH. Pastor Paul Elswick will be officiating with interment to follow at Maplewood Cemetery in New Albany, OH.

Bill was born on November 11, 1933 in Westerville, OH, to the late Emmett and Elizabeth (Crow) Glaze. He retired after 27 years with Commercial Motor Freight, Columbus, OH and was a member of the Wonderland Community Church. He was an avid lover of antique cars and Volkswagens.

Bill is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Betty Glaze of New Albany, two daughters and two sons, Christie Martin of Johnstown, Dan L. (Vikki) Glaze of New Albany, Billie (Bruce) Working of Pataskala, John L. Glaze of Pataskala, two brothers, Frank Zollinger of New Albany and Herb Zollinger of Pataskala, seven grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. Proceeded in death by two sisters, Dorothy Combs and Janice Dyer.

Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, January 8, 2012 from 2 to 4 PM. Memorial contributions can be made in loving memory of Bill to Wonderland Community Church, 4693 Friendship Drive, Gahanna, OH 43230.
