
Millard Franklin (Frank) Blair, age 77, of Pataskala, died peacefully Monday, December 28, 2015. He was born November 13, 1938, in Barnett's Creek, Johnson County, Kentucky, to Bob and Daisy (O'Bryan) Blair. A 1959 graduate of Monroe High School in Williamsport, Ohio, Frank played basketball for three years and assisted his senior year. He was a roofer and laborer at General Maintenance and Engineering, Co. for 32 years, retiring in 1996. Frank was a loving and devoted husband, father, and soon-to-be grandfather who enjoyed basketball, apples, antique tools, classic country music, nature, and reminiscing about his childhood in Kentucky. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 38 years, Georgann (Miles) Blair, as well as his brothers, Bobby Blair and Buddy Blair, and his sisters, Anna Williams, Margaret Burchett, Dixie Blair, Audrey Way, and Lorena Speakmon. Frank is survived by his daughters, Lynn Blair and Jennifer (Randy) Hall; brothers, Flem (Judy) Blair and Bill Blair; brothers-in-law, Bill Miles, Rolan (Patricia) Miles, and Jim (Gerry) Way; sister-in-law, Mary Daniels; and aunt, Myrle Preston; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends. The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, December 30, 2015, from 6 – 8 pm at CROUSE-KAUBER-FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, 225 N. Main St., Johnstown, OH. The service will be held at 10 am on Thursday, December 31, 2015, at the funeral home with Reverend John Wallace officiating. Interment will follow at Green Hill Cemetery in Johnstown. In honor of the skilled nurses who cared for Frank, contributions may be made to the OhioHealth Foundation, Critical Care Nursing Fellowship at Grant Medical Center, 180 East Broad St., Columbus, 43215.
