Geneva E. Holter Wright, 89 of Johnstown, OH went to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 27, 2011. A funeral service for will be held at Crouse-Kauber-Sammons Funeral Home, 225 N Main St., Johnstown, OH on Thursday, December 1, 2011 at 10 AM with Rev. Ford officiating. Burial to follow at Maplewood Cemetery, New Albany, Ohio.
Geneva was born on July 28, 1922 in Center Village, OH to the late Homer and Annabell Mann. Geneva spent her life doing God’s work. She was a counselor to our family, inspiration to many and an example for us all. Geneva was a life long member of Wayside Chapel in Johnstown. She leaves behind sons; Frank (Alma) Holter, Alvin (Patty) Holter, 8 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren, sisters Wannetta Gould and Alice Neighbarger, along with many family members and friends who all loved her dearly. She is preceded in death by husbands, Alvin C. Holter and Eb Wright, sisters Katherine Neibarger and Mary Jane Thompson, brothers Marcus Mann, Thomas Mann and William Mann, half sisters Virginia Hughs, Viola Carey and Margie Humpry, granddaughter Kim Thompson. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday, November 30, 2011 from 5 to 9pm.
