Jack C. McKenzie, 83, passed away at his residence on August 20, 2015. He was born on September 23, 1931 in Johnstown, Ohio, a son to the late John and Ruth (Searles) McKenzie. Jack is survived by his wife, Janet C. (Wurth) McKenzie; children, Linda J. (David) Mathews, Robert A. (Laurie) McKenzie, John G. McKenzie, Lisa A. (Jack) Stiles and Tim (Josie) McKenzie; grandfather of nine and great grandfather of seven; stepfather of three and step-grandfather of four. Jack was preceded in death by his first wife Audrey J. (Moats) McKenzie and his daughter Barbara J. McKenzie. Family will receive friends on Sunday, August 23, 2015 from 2-5 p.m. at the CROUSE-KAUBER-FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, 225 N. Main St., Johnstown, Ohio 43031, where a Rosary Service will be held at 4:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, August 24, 2015 at the Church of the Ascension, 555 S. Main St., Johnstown, Ohio 43031 at 12 noon, with Fr. J.R. Reichert officiating. Interment Green Hill Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made in his honor to Pelatonia, 351 W. Nationwide Blvd., Columbus, OH 43215, or the Ascension Church Debt Retirement Fund c/o of Church of the Ascension.
