John A. Norris Sr.

December 6, 1928 – February 26, 2012

John A. Norris, Sr, 83, of Johnstown, passed away on Sunday, February 26, 2012 at St. Ann’s Hospital. Memorial services will be on Thursday, March 1, 2012 at 7 PM at Crouse-Kauber-Sammons Funeral Home, 225 N. Main Street, Johnstown, OH.

Mr. Norris was born December 6, 1928 in Burksfield, KY., to the late Albert and Ruby (Riddle) Norris. He retired from International Harvester, Columbus, OH. He was also a member of the US Army during the Korean Conflict.

John is survived by his wife of 62 years, Irene Norris of Johnstown, three sons and one daughter, John A, (Dolly) Norris, Jr. of Pataskala, Margaret (Tim) McKinney of Columbus, Joe (Patti) Norris of Johnstown, Wayne (Deborah) Norris of Johnstown, brother, Sam Norris of Indianapolis, IN, grandchildren, John A. (Sherri) Norris, III, Jeremy Norris, Melissa (Steve) McManaway, Anna (Dan) Evans, Brandy (Matt) O’Hearn, Amanda (Matt) Morris, Jarad Norris, Josh Norris, Colton Rosshirt, Joey Norris, great grandchildren, Lance, Jackson, and Evan, loving pets, Katie, Bounce, and Molly.
