Joseph R. Ruffle Sr.

Joseph R. Ruffle, Sr., 82, of Johnstown, passed away at Country View Nursing Home, Sunbury, OH. Funeral services will be 10 AM on Saturday, October 6, 2012 at Crouse-Kauber-Sammons Funeral Home, 225 N. Main Street, Johnstown, OH. with Father Reichert officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Johnstown, OH.

Mr. Ruffle was born in Columbus, OH on May 14, 1930 to the late James and Margaret (Orban) Ruffle. He retired from Rockwell International, Columbus, OH. He was a member of the US Navy during WWII and a member of Church of The Ascension, Johnstown.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Luz Ruffle of Johnstown, two daughters, Marjorie Ruffle of Tampa, FL, Jocelyn (Rob) Swords of Sunbury, son, Joseph (Holly) Ruffle, Jr. of Johnstown, brother, Jim Ruffle of Grove City, sister, Mary (Tom) Deibel of Canal Winchester, six grandchildren, Robbie (Brennan), Lacey Swords, Abby, Kate, Ava, and Joey Ruffle, several nieces and nephews.
