Martha Lowery

A Funeral Service for Martha M. Lowery of Newark, formerly of Johnstown, will be held at 12:00 pm Friday October 3, 2014 at the Crouse Kauber Sammons Funeral Home with interment to follow at Green Hill Cemetery.

Martha was born on April 19, 1946 in Newark to the late Samuel and Macie (Dearman) Victor. She passed away Tuesday Sept 30, 2014 at Mt. Carmel East Hospital. She was 68.

She was retired from Tech Rubber in Johnstown after thirty years of service, was a graduate of Utica HS Class of ’64, loved to plant flowers, especially daisies, and tending to her angel garden with her husband. Martha was a member of the Gathering Place Church, loved to send cards and participated with her family in the Susan G. Komen Walk for the Cure.

Martha is survived by her husband of 45 years Melvin; her daughter Melissa Lowery, sisters Mary Garrabrant and Dorothy McGlothin, her brother Samuel Victor Jr., and numerous nieces nephews, many good friends, and the love of her life, her dog Milo.
